Let’s talk my favorite supplies for Bible Journaling and Bible study. I’m going to share some of my resources and supplies that I use including the Amazon link and how I use them. I hope this helps you if you are looking to get started with Bible journaling! Please note the Amazon links are Amazon Associate links which means I get a small portion if you use my link at no additional cost to you. Also there is no pressure to buy all the things I share. I just wanted to give you some ideas, I always try to shop my stash of supplies first, even though new things are always tempting to buy!
Bibles

- ESV Journaling Bible, Interleaved Edition
- https://amzn.to/4cxUv4M
- I love this Bible for journaling and note taking because in between each page of text there is a blank sheet. This gives you plenty of room to journal, create, and take notes without interfering with the text. She is a little chunky but I love the idea of one day having all that I have learned all in one place to reference. It will also be a nice keepsake for future generations.
- CSB Holy Land Illustrated Bible
- https://amzn.to/4eTMVD8
- This Bible is the best for historical context as it provides details about what life was like during that time period. It has lots of visuals and gives you a history lesson as you read through the Bible. I find knowing the historical context helps you really see the Bible as real. It also provides so many insights and makes you think how these events took place not as long ago as you might think! I use this Bible as a resource, but you could easily mark it up and use it as your daily reader if you choose.
- The Complete Jewish Study Bible
- https://amzn.to/3LiopxM
- If you’ve been following for a bit, you know I am all about the Jewishness of the Bible! I love this one as it not only includes the entire Bible, Torah and all, but it also has study notes and extra nuggets. One of those nuggets include the different feast and festivals and how they are to be celebrated. I often use this Bible during those times and mark those pages for easy access. I also love how all the people in the Bible are referred to by their Hebrew name. This Bible illustrates the different names of God as well and we know that is important as it helps us understand what role He is in when He is speaking.
Books

- Amazon Kindle Paperwhite
- https://amzn.to/3zJ3125
- All of the books I am listing can be read on the Kindle or bought in hardback/paperback form. I personally love having a Kindle as it is easy to carry with me and I have multiple books all at once. It also saves space on my bookshelf!
- The With Rabbi Jesus Series
- I cannot recommend this series enough to believers who are curious about exploring the Jewishness of the Bible. These are great introductions and offer so much insight! You don’t have to read them in order either as each one offers different insights. These were the books that really installed the hunger to learn more about the roots of the Bible and even encouraged my first Passover Seder!
- Reading the Bible with Rabbi Jesus How a Jewish Perspective Can Transform Your Understanding
- Sitting at the Feet of Rabbi Jesus: How the Jewishness of Jesus Can Transform Your Faith
- Walking in the Dust of Rabbi Jesus: How the Jewish Words of Jesus Can Change Your Life
- Messiah in the Feasts of Israel
- I refer back to this book quite often as each feast approaches. This book explores the context behind each feast, gives you the instructions for celebrating the feast, and shares how Yeshua fulfills many of the feast as well as his role in the feast. Did you know that most of the major events in Yeshua’s life took place during the feasts?

Journaling Supplies
These are the tools I use to document what I am learning in my Bible or in my notebooks. I love to add touches of creativity in my notes to help things stand out.

- Epson EcoTank ET-2850
- I recently got this printer and so far I’m loving it! Instead of cartridges it has tanks that can be filled up with ink bottles. The ink last so much longer than cartridges and if you’re like me and you print a lot, it ends up being a big money saver. I print my Bible studies, pages for my Bible Buddy, and maps/ resources to add into my Bible.

- HP Printer Paper
- I like to print on 28 pound paper. It is thicker than regular copy paper so it hold up over time but not as thick as cardstock that will bulk up my journals and Bibles. The higher pound paper also creates a smoother print surface and gives you better quality prints.

- Printable White Sticker Paper
- Speaking of ways to add things into your Bible without bulking it up… sticker paper is a must! It is so easy to print a map onto sticker paper and then adhere it right into your Bible without the fuse of glue. I also use sticker paper to print embellishments on so they are easy to add to my journal.

- Adhesives
- These are the three adhesives I reach for the most. Which one depends on the project, the type of material, and honestly how much effort I want to put into it.
- Elmer’s Extra Strength Glue Sticks
- Double Sided Tape Roller
- Double-sided Adhesive
- Mechanical Pencil Set
- I like this set because it has a variety of led sizes. It is also handy to have them all together.

- Tombow 66403 MONO Drawing Pen, 3-Pack
- These are my go to pens for writing in my Bible. They don’t bleed through the pages at all! Also you can get various line weights with the variety pack to create all the fonts you want.
- Zebra Pen Mildliner Highlighters
- These are the highlighters I recommended from my Highlighter Guide post.
- EK Tools Cutter Bee Precision Scissors
- These little guys are a work horse when it comes to scissors. They are also small and easy to travel with (TSA Approved!)
- Delfonics Bag
- If you’re getting all the pens and markers, you need a place to store them. This bag fits all my supplies in it and has outside pockets to put my tape runner, scissors, and glue stick in.
- A5 Binder 6 Ring Binder Notebook
- This is the notebook that I use for my Bible Buddy set up. There are several post about it on my blog and under the Bible Buddy category.
