In September we focused on Daniel and Esther. We also started into the gospels which will take up a big chunk of the rest of our year in the Bible together. We covered Esther in our Purim post earlier in the year. So for today we are going to focus on the book of Daniel.
Daniel
The book of Daniel paints a lot of prophetic imagery as well as shows us a model of how to be while living in a worldly society. Daniel never once bends a knee to follow the commands of the king, especially when they are in violation with God. We see that through his faithfulness to the Lord, he is protected, even when in a lion’s den.
Several years ago, I completed a study with Yes and Amen Studios on the book of Daniel. I would encourage you to check out the study as she provided keywords for you to dig into and the printables made a great addition to your Bible notes. At the time of writing this post, her shop is closed. On her instagram page, topknotsandyah she does have some highlights from the Daniel study to check out. The link for her site when it is up and running again is: https://yesandamenstudio.com/
We are quickly heading into the Gospels which are so exciting to read through as a believer in Yeshua. Stay tuned for the October recap to see some creative ways to keep track of the events in the Gospels as they fall into the timeline of Yeshua’s time here on earth.
What were some of your Daniel takeaways?
What is something you are looking forward to in the Gospels?
