Remember The Wonders

This month I joined Illustrated Faith in completing their devotional kit, Remember the Wonders. I really enjoyed taking the time to be creative and reflect on the past year. You may recall from my 2025 Bible Study Plan post that I would be using a notebook for all my Bible art journaling. Well, here is the first installment. Let’s take a look through my process this month.

A paint background with the words Remember The Wonders and the verse Psalm 40:5.

Here is my simple intro page for kit. I love how Psalm 40:5 reminds us that everything that comes from the Lord is great and that His plans are event better than the ones we come up with on our own. This is such a great reminder as we head into the new year and set our goals.

We started the time with seeking the facts and feelings of the previous year. I enjoyed looking back at the things I did and what I was proud of. I loved cutting the circles out of the journal and collaging them onto the page.

Tags hanging down with the months listed and journaling.

This was the time to reflect on the past year and journal a bit from the different topics that IF covered each month. I’ll be honest, I loved the idea for the page, but the stamping of the tags did not turn out how I had envisioned. I do believe the tag stamp will be a great addition to my stamp collection and have a variety of uses later on. The prompts were a great way to reflect and to set some intentions to hold onto in the upcoming year.

The final page in the remember the wonders section is two pics of some of my people and some thoughts on that. I am always striving to grow and be reflective of what I am doing.

A list of gratitudes and delights

The second section, See the Wonders was an opportunity to journal current gratitudes and delights. This page has the January delights that I had thus far like a little bit of snow, new plants, creating with Fodder School, and my cloud mug full of hot coffee.

A list of things I am loving.

Continuing in this section, I chose the ing words that I was feeling best showed the things I am working on with God. Surrendering to Him, being positive, trusting in Him, and learning His word. The loving page shows all the things I am currently loving about this time of year. Of course the sunshine page is on brand for me too.

We then moved into the final week with Believe the Wonders. My word for the year is Whole and Psalm 119:10 is my verse. Here I wrote a letter to God asking for support and guidance in the upcoming year.

How fun are the circles all over this page! I used this space to write out the things that I am seeking from God and in the new year. These align with some of the goals I have set for the new year.

An I ended the devolution with two things I want more of and two things I want less of. I really enjoyed this devotional and all the creative ideas behind it. It was fun to explore working in a journal and I am excited to see what it will look like at the end of the year with all of the art journaling filling up the pages! Let me know in the comments what you are doing in your art journal and if you did the Remember the Wonders kit. Also drop your Instagram handle so I can follow you!
